A guide to becoming an introu member and maximizing your job potential by showcasing your skills through your profile effectively.
It is important to note that every section should be filled out as detailed as possible with truthful information that shows off your skillsets.
Section 1. “What are your details?”
In this section you must fill out your name, mobile number, and email. I tis important to add a mobile number and email that you check regularly because businesses will use them to contact you about paid jobs or consultations.
Section 2 “Location”
for this section please enter the city you reside in.
Section 3 “Tell us about yourself”
For this section you must upload a professional photo of yourself. Please make sure that the photo you choose is professional. Ex. A headshot.
Then you must write in a “title”
For this make sure you write a title that encompasses your skillsets that you wish to use to work with businesses.
For the “about me” section, make sure you write a brief summary about yourself that highlights your experience and skills.
Then below is a section where you can add URLs. We require that any applicant who has skillsets as a creative ex. Graphic design, videography, audio, UX design, etc… MUST include a link or links that showcases their work while providing evidence of their skillsets.
Section 4 “Tell us about your rates”
This section you must input your hourly and rate per day as well as the currency you wish to be paid in. It is important to accurately represent your rate here because this will go under consideration when businesses consider you for a job.
Section 5 “What are your skills”
In this section you must select all the skills you have. It is important to select skills that reflect your title, skillsets, and experience you described in previous sections.
Section 6 “What is your previous work experience?”
In This section we highly recommend you enter any job or project you worked on that showcases your skillsets. Make sure you add a detailed account of what you achieved or provided for each project to help businesses see when you put your skillsets to use effectively.
Section 7 “What is your education”
For this section you may input your education. This can include anything from university and college degrees to online courses and workshops.
Important to note that introu does not hold education as a factor when reviewing an application but focuses more or experience and skill level.
Section 8 “Choose a password”
In this section you must enter your account information, email and password to access your account once it is approved.
Section 9 “Our matching algorithm will get you work”
In this section you must select at least 2 timeslots in which you are available to be booked for a consultation with a business on the platform. These consultations are important for introducing you to clients and allowing you to showcase your skillsets and experience.
